Playa de las Teresitas – The golden, lively coast of Tenerife
Just 17 kilometers from Castillo Morro, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, lies one of the most beautiful beaches on the island: Playa de las Teresitas. A place that exudes a very special atmosphere with its soft desert sand, turquoise blue water and gently swaying fishing boats.
A beach straight out of a picture book
Playa de las Teresitas stands out from many beaches on Tenerife. Instead of dark volcanic sand, there is a 1.3-kilometre-long oasis of the finest, former Spanish Western Sahara sand.
Lined with shady palm trees and accompanied by the screeching of seagulls, the beach unfolds its magical tranquillity, especially in the morning. The first rays of sunlight bathe the sea in a golden light, the water glistens and for a moment the world seems to stand still.
Thanks to the mild climate all year round with an average temperature of 21 degrees, this beach invites you to linger at any time of year.
Varied activities for young and old
Playa de las Teresitas offers numerous opportunities to spend an active or relaxed day. Long and relaxing walks along the water’s edge invite you to consciously unwind, watch the waves and enjoy the fresh air. For families and friends, the beach is the perfect place to catch up and simply spend time together. Whether soaking up the sun on the warm sand or in the shade of the trees, everyone will find their own personal favorite spot here.
If you love the water, you can swim or even snorkel in the calm waters. The calm water conditions make Playa de las Teresitas an ideal place to observe the many small fish.
There are also numerous options for sports enthusiasts: You can SUP paddle or hire a water pedalo to enjoy a relaxing time on the water. The calm, shallow water ensures that young children in particular feel safe and comfortable here.

Culinary moments by the sea
There are several beach lounges right on the beach where you can enjoy a little break. Whether it’s a refreshing sangria, a freshly squeezed Zumo de Naranja or an authentic Canarian meal – this is the perfect place to relax while gazing out over the glistening water.
And if you want to round off the evening with a special experience, you should visit the El Caracol beach bar. At the weekend, it transforms into a lively meeting place with music, often even with live bands, and invites you to dance barefoot in the sand – often until 9 or 10 pm.
Rest and relaxation after a perfect day at the beach
After an eventful day at Playa de las Teresitas, there is nothing better than returning to a beautiful, well-kept accommodation that combines comfort and tranquillity.
Castillo Morro, just a few kilometers away, offers just such a retreat – a stylish home for anyone who wants to experience Tenerife in all its beauty.
We can hardly wait to welcome you here! See you soon, barefoot in the sand and with a smile on your lips – Hasta pronto!
